Room is well equipped, and free wine every evening between 6-7:30pm is an added bonus. Served the purpose of our stay for three nights. Shower/bath combo was great, very powerful shower and no issues with hot water. Area surrounding is nice and feels safer than some over areas in LA. There is a good donut shop (cash only) across the road that you can get cheap breakfast and coffee at for <$10 for two people. Also recommend trying Egg Tuck down the road which has vegan and meat options (although more pricey but very filling). We have actually rebooked this hotel for the second part of our trip because it feels safer for two female travellers to walk around at night. Close to bus and Metro links which can take you all over the city for ~$7 a day (recommend if not wanting to use a car).

The hotel lobby was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was small, but we were only there for one night, so we didn’t need too much room to move around. With the hotel being older (built in the 20s I think), walls and floors were a bit thinner, so we could hear allll the movements from the guests in the room above us and I’m sure the guests below us could say the same about us. Otherwise, there were plenty of useable outlets, water pressure was great, bed was clean and comfortable, and I love that in addition to offering single serve coffees in the room, they also offered tea. We didn’t get to take advantage of the wine happy hour, but I love that it’s offered.

Beautiful interior in the lobby and room. This is the best value for money because it feels like a boutique hotel with the right amenities for reasonable price. Front desk staff have been great and we loved the everyday maid service. They provide coffee in the morning and wine reception in the afternoon. The hotel also gave us complimentary late checkout. Location is very good as we loved exploring koreatown and the many restaurants it has to offer. Would recommend this place to stay in LA.

We loved the customer service, spent 5 days in Vegas prior and the care and attention here surpassed it. The check in staff were great, parking in the lot with valet service was convenient and easy to find. I asked for a quiet room which is a challenge in the middle of the city but I slept well and was thankful they were able to provide a really great room for us. I had a drink at the wine reception and read my book in the stylish lobby. We were super happy with our stay. thank you :)

This is a classic older hotel. The lobby area is grand and has a historical feel. All the staff were upbeat, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was outstanding. We enjoyed having a meal at Cassel's Hamburger which is attached to the hotel. If you are visiting the Korea Town neighborhood this is a perfectly located hotel. The price of the hotel was fair for the location. Having a cup of coffee in the lobby in the morning was a great way to start your day in LA.
